At NEXTGEN GOLF CARTS, we take immense pride in our craftsmanship and the rigorous 20-point quality inspection every vehicle undergoes at our Ponte Vedra headquarters before delivery. Because our products are high-value, specialized, and often custom-built, we have established the following guidelines for returns and refunds.
1. Custom-Built Vehicle Orders
- Bespoke Nature: Every custom-built cart is treated as a “one-of-one” commissioned piece of art.
- Final Sale: Once a custom build has entered the production phase including custom paint, upholstery, or specialized performance tuning—the order is considered Final Sale and is non-refundable.
- Deposit Policy: Deposits made to secure a production slot for a custom build are non-refundable once parts have been ordered or work has commenced.
2. Cancellation Policy
- Pre-Shipment: If you wish to cancel an order for a standard, in-stock vehicle before it has been crated or loaded for transport, a full refund may be issued, minus a 5% administrative and processing fee.
- Post-Shipment: Once a vehicle has left our Ponte Vedra facility or entered the “Professional Loading” phase, the order cannot be canceled.
3. Delivery Inspection & Shipping Damage
- Arrival Protocol: Our “White-Glove” delivery service requires the recipient to inspect the vehicle thoroughly upon arrival.
- Refusing Delivery: If a vehicle arrives with significant structural or mechanical damage sustained during transit, you must refuse delivery and note the damage on the Bill of Lading (BOL).
- Resolution: We will work with our specialized carriers to repair the vehicle to “showroom condition” or provide a replacement at no additional cost to you.
4. Returns of Standard Inventory
In the rare event that a return is authorized for a non-custom, in-stock vehicle:
- Timeframe: Return requests must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery.
- Condition: The vehicle must be in “as-delivered” condition with no more than 5 additional miles on the odometer.
- Fees: Returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
- Logistics: The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs via an insured, enclosed carrier approved by Nextgen Carts.
5. Parts & Lithium Battery Returns
- Lithium-Ion Batteries: Due to strict DOT and international shipping safety protocols, all lithium battery sales are Final Sale once they have been installed or shipped.
- Standard Parts: Unopened parts and accessories may be returned within 14 days, subject to a 15% restocking fee.
6. Refunds
- Processing Time: Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days via the original payment method.
- Financing: For vehicles purchased via our financing partners (e.g., Sheffield or Synchrony), refunds will be coordinated directly with the lender to close the account.
